I’ve banged on about this before – I’ve even written blog posts about it – but I’d like to remind you of the benefits of affiliate marketing.
In a nutshell, affiliate marketing involves selling other people’s stuff for a commission.
Think that sounds hard?
Wrong, wrong and wrong.
Do you have to make or buy anything? No.
Do you have to store products (like in a warehouse that you have to rent)? No.
Do you need an office and staff? No.
Do you need to handle/deliver products? No.
Can you make a sensible amount of money from it? Absolutely YES!
So what do I need? The answer to that one is simple – you need PEOPLE.
There are literally THOUSANDS of companies out there, and they’re all looking for more customers. If you can show them you have a large following/network, they will fall over themselves to do business with you.
The bigger your crowd, the more leverage you have when it comes to negotiating your commission. If your crowd has a shared interest in a certain type of product, so much the better.
[FYI, I get 80% on the sales I make. My supplier takes care of the order processing and the fulfilment. They send me a monthly sales report, and they pay me straight into my bank account. I don’t have to leave home for this. In theory, I don’t even have to get dressed! People buy from me 24/7, whether I’m out for a walk, on holiday, or even while I’m asleep.]
Set up a website dedicated to this particular product range. This will become your shop window.
(If that’s a problem for you, I can help)
Then invite your people to the website, and watch the money start rolling in.
Even if you’re still in your pyjamas!
Next week, you can report to me with your thoughts on the above. Until then, take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
